Career Day at ACPC allows students to glimpse work world

Career Day was held at Adair County Primary Center (ACPC) on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Students had the opportunity to dress up as they would dress in their favorite career and they visited the following booths: Adair County EMS, Adair County High School HOSA students, Adair County Animal Hospital, and Adair County High School FFA.

Veterinarian career - Leila Allender Jones, LVT, from Adair County Animal Hospital is pictured with Thumper the rabbit and Loopy the Macaw Bird. Students learned about the different careers in the Veterinarian Industry and were able to enjoy the pets afterwards.
