KSP Investigates Bank Robbery in the Flaherty Community

State police seek help locating suspects believed to be driving a 2017 Hyundai Elantra

Kentucky State Police Post 4, Elizabethtown, KY

VINE GROVE, KY (Tue 22 May 2018) -On Tuesday May 22, 2018 at 1:04pmET, Meade County Dispatch contacted Kentucky State Police Post 04 requesting assistance with a bank robbery.

The robbery occurred at WesBanco Bank located at 4055 Flaherty Road, Vine Grove in the Flaherty community.




The preliminary investigation has revealed that two unknown suspects entered into the bank brandishing a gun and demanding money from bank tellers from a cash drawer.

The suspects then exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency, and left in what is believed to be a white 2017 Hyundai Elantra (see stock photo below), traveling toward KY 144.


The Kentucky State Police Post 04 is requesting if you have any information regarding this case or know the identity of the unknown males and/or their whereabouts, please contact Kentucky State Police at (270-766-5078.

The case is being led by Detective Bryan Washer and is ongoing. No further information is available for release at this time.
