Stephen Derringer, 75, Taylor County, KY (1943-2018)

Stephen Derringer, 75, of Wilmore, KY, formerly of Campbellsville, KY, passed away on Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Thomson-Hood Veteran Center.

Funeral Services will be held 10amCT/11amET Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY with Bro. Ricky Hogue officiating. Visitation will be held from 5pmCT/6pmET until 7pmCT/8pmET Tuesday May 22, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Whited Cemetery where Military Rites will be performed by the Casey County Veteran's Honor Guard.

He was born in Midway, KY on April 12, 1943. He was a son of the late Arlis and Billie Haggard Derringer. He died Saturday, May 19, 2018, in Wilmore, Jessamine County, KY, at the age of 75 years, one month, and seven days.

Stephen was a carpenter and a U.S. Army Veteran.

Survivors include:
  • Three Daughters: Stephanie, Susie and Lisa

  • Caregiver: Caroline Jones of Campbellsville, KY

  • Special Cousin: Frank McFarland of Campbellsville, KY
Preceding him in death besides his Parents were five brothers: Gene, Carl, George, Jim and Madison Derringer.
