Drug arrests result from speeding stop on LBN Parkway

Police allege locating large sum of cash and Mason jar full of packages of Marijuana, in suspects' vehicle. Two passengers arrested and lodged in Barren County Detention Center, Glasgow, KY.
NOTE: Arrests are considered charges. An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged in an arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

METCALFE COUNTY, KY. (Tue 15 May 2018) – On May 14, 2018 at approximately 2:55amCST Trooper Nick Davis conducted a routine traffic stop for a speeding violation 4 miles west of Edmonton on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway.



Upon approaching the 2012 Nissan Altima, Trooper Davis detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. Consent to search the vehicle was given and Trooper Davis located a mason jar full of individual packages of marijuana and a large sum of cash.

Two of the passengers in the vehicle, Daledreka Wilson, age 27, and Antonio Wilson, age 28, both of Corbin, KY were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, trafficking in marijuana (less than 8 oz.) 1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
