Stanley Keith Abner, age 55 formerly of Glasgow, KY, died May 12, 2018 in Louisville, KY, at Baptist Health hospital.

Funeral services will be Tuesday May 15, 2018 at1pmCT, at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, Burial will fallow in the Shirley Baldock Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 10:00 till time of services at 1pmCT.


Stanley Keith Abner, 55, Glasgow, KY (1963-2018)


Born March 28, 1963 in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, he was a son of the late Stanley and Betty Glass Abner. He died Saturday, May 12, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 55 years, two months, and 14 days.

His career was focused on mechanic work. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Kasey (Brent) Rodgers and Jamie Abner of LaGrange, KY

  • Two sons: Wesley Abner of LaGrange, KY; and Johnny (Stephanie) Emmert of Glasgow, KY

  • One brother: Kevin Abner of Glasgow, KY
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson Dylan Emmert and two Brothers Ricky and Mark Abner.
