Joe Knopp, 89, Taylor County, KY (1929-2018) He served his country honorably in the United States Army and served two tours of war in Germany during the Korean conflict. He will be rendered full military honors by the Marion County Honor Guard at committal rites. He was a retired employee of Kroger after thirty nine years of dedication. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He was the son of the late Joe Knopp & Hazel Shipp Knopp, and the widower of Frances Bennett Knopp, his wife of 30 years. He leaves 15 direct living descendants, with deep family ties in Campbellsville & Taylor County, Knifley and Columbia & Adair County, KY, and elsewhere in Kentucky and Florida.
