This time of the year is bitter/sweet for ISP host families Being a host parent is one of the many treasures I have experienced throughout my years with LWC. - RENEE'. Becoming a host parent is one of the best things I have ever done. It has been a great experience and opportunity for my family. - MARISSA Click on headline for complete story with families on state park outing By Renee' Stinson & Marissa Price, host parents This time of the year is bitter/sweet for us as international host families.. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things for me to do as a host mom. However, it is such an honor and treasure to experience the laughter, memories, tears, culture, and become a family with these students. It is even more rewarding to offer them security and love when they are so far from everything and everyone they know. Being a host parent is one of the many treasures I have experienced throughout my years with LWC. During the time my family have been hosts, we have had students from Korea, Japan, and France. It has been a beautiful tour, and we are looking forward to where this road takes us next, but we will always love and treasure the road we have already taken. ~ Renee' Stinson Becoming a host parent is one of the best things I have ever done. It has been a great experience and opportunity for my family. ~ Marissa Price For more information about the LWC International Student Friendship Program, contact Sabine Eastham at easthams@lindsey.edu or call 270-384-8236. - Sabine This story was posted on 2018-05-09 08:08:51
