E-Waste Collection at Adair Recycling Center 14-18 May 2018 By Adair County Deputy Judge Executive Andrea Waggener The week of May 14-18, 2018, will be electronic waste collection at the Adair County Recycling Center, 32 Service Road, Columbia, KY. Bins will be set up for drop-off and assistance unloading will be available during regular Recycling Center hours, Monday-Wednesday 8am-3pmCT, and Thursday and Friday the center is open and staff will assist if they are not picking up routes. While electronics are collected at other times at the recycling center, May 14-18 will have bins set up specifically to receive electronic waste. Ecyclers USA is a family-owned electronics recycling service provider located in Knoxville, TN specializing in the collection and disposal of personal computer equipment. To protect our citizens participating in the collection Ecyclers USA follows a stringent set of operational standards to ensure the complete destruction of data and the responsible disposition and recycling of all materials collected. The items approved for collection include: laptop and desktop computers, LCD monitors, hard drives, modems, plug and play devices, printers, scanners, copiers, telephone equipment including cell phones, fax machines, power backups and transformers, misc. office equipment, wires and cables, circuit boards, video game systems, DVD/CD/VCR players, miscellaneous home entertainment systems, small electronic household appliances, CRT monitors and CRT televisions (no white goods).
