COLUMBIA, KY - (Wed 02 May 2018) - For the seventh year in a row, Lindsey Wilson has captured the Mid-South Conference President's Cup, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The Blue Raiders also won the inaugural men and women's all-sports trophies.

Lindsey Wilson scored 135 points in the all-sports competition to capture the eighth overall cup in school history. The Blue Raiders 68 points in the Men's All-Sports Trophy and 67 points in the Women's All-Sports Trophy.



The points are awarded based on the final regular-season standings for each conference-sanctioned sport. The regular-season champion or event champion -- in the case where there is no regular season -- in each sport receives 10 points with second place receiving nine points, etc. The top seven male and top seven female team finishes for each institution will generate the institution's overall totals.

Cumberlands (KY) finished second with 130.5 points while Campbellsville (KY) was third with 118.5 points. Cumberland (TN) finished fourth with 108.5 points, Georgetown (KY) was fifth with 101 points and Pikeville (KY) sixth with 94 points.

Rounding out the President's Cup standings is Shawnee State (Ohio) and Life (Ga.) with 93.5 and 73.5 points, respectively.

In the spring, Lindsey Wilson picked up team championships in men's and women's track and field, men's and women's tennis and men's golf during the spring season.

Cumberlands earned spring championships in baseball, women's golf, and archery while Campbellsville captured the championship in softball.
