Theresa Lynn Anderson Gilbert, 58, Cumberland County, KY (1959-2018)

She was a Christian, a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a native of Cumberland County and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Nina Spears Anderson. Her husband of 40 years, Campbell Gilbert, survives. She leaves four direct living descendants.

Mrs. Teresa Lynn Anderson Gilbert, 58, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Glasgow, KY having attained the age of 58 years, five months, and four days.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will be in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 4pmCT, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 until the funeral hour on Thursday.

Teresa Lynn Anderson Gilbert was born in Cumberland County, KY on Friday, November 27, 1959. He was the daughter of Roy and Nina Spears Anderson. She died Tuesday, May 1, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 58 years, five months, and four days.

She was a Christian, a homemaker and a seamstress.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Connie "Stretch" Spears; her half-sister, Ruby Nell Garner; and her nephew, Chris Anderson.

She is survived by her husband, Campbell Gilbert of Burkesville, KY, whom she wed on Saturday, September 10, 1977 and the following:
  • Her two sons: Anthony Anderson (and Tessa Martin) of Burkesville, KY; and Dylan Gilbert of Burkesville, KY

  • Her sister: Elaine (and Bill) Stumph of Glasgow, KY

  • Her brother: Roger (and Becky) Anderson of Cincinnati, Ohio

  • Two grandchildren: Khloee Anderson and Trent Anderson

  • And several nieces and nephews.
