Jimmie Glen Capps, 60, Cumberland Co., KY (1957-2018)

He was retired Team Leader for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Georgetown, KY. He loved his Toyota family and took pride in working there. He called himself a "hobby farmer" and enjoyed his cows and tractors. He was a member of a highly regarded Cumberland County, KY, family, the son of Bebe (Sharp) Capps and Earl (Becky Rush) Capps. His wife, Brenda Harden Capps, survives. He leaves Two direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY.

Jimmie Glen Capps, 60, husband of Brenda (Harden) Capps, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018.

Visitation will be 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, Friday, April 27, 2018, Eastern at Johnson's Funeral Home in Georgetown, KY. There will be a second visitation on 1pm-4pmCT/2pm-5pmET,Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with the funeral service to follow at 4pmCT. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery.



Jimmie Glen Capps, 60, Cumberland Co., KY (1957-2018)


He was born August 8, 1957 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of Bebe (Sharp) Capps and Earl (Becky Rush) Capps. He died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at the age of 60 years, eight months, and 17 days. Jimmie was a retired Team Leader for Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Georgetown and he loved his Toyota family and took pride in working there.

He called himself a "hobby farmer" and enjoyed his cows and tractors.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jimmie is survived by:
  • His daughter, Kelly Renee (Justin) Walters

  • His son: Kyle Bennett Capps

  • One sister: Diane (Joe) Bone

  • Three brothers: Phillip (Madie) Capps, David (Tammy) Capps and Mark Capps. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
