Ernest Leon White, 75, Metcalfe County, KY (1942-2018)

He was a native of Monroe County, KY, and a resident of Edmonton, KY, at the time of his death in Nashville, TN. His wife of 55 years Patricia White, survives. He leaves 19 direct living descendants. He was retired from SKF industries, a member of the Edmonton Baptist Church, Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931, Edmonton Eastern Star #470 and Metcalfe County American Legion. He was a United States Army veteran.

Ernest Leon White age 75, of Edmonton, KY, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.

Funeral services, Masonic Rites and Eastern Star services will be held 1pmCT, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens, Edmonton, KY. Visitation will be from 2pmCT until 8pmCT, Friday, April 27, 2018, and after 9amCT, Saturday at the funeral home.



Ernest Leon White, 75, Metcalfe County, KY (1942-2018)


Born, May 20, 1942 in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY. He was the son of the late Ernest and Maybelle Vibbert White. He died Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in Nashville, Davidson County, TN, at at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and five days.

Leon was retired from SKF industries, a member of the Edmonton Baptist Church, Edmonton Masonic Lodge #931, Edmonton Eastern Star #470 and Metcalfe County American Legion. He was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by:
  • His wife of 55 years, Patricia Smith White of Edmonton, KY

  • His two sons: Chris (Maria-AnnieMar) White and Patrick (Amanda) White, all of Edmonton, KY

  • His one daughter: Robyn (David) Wilson of Edmonton, KY

  • A brother: Randy Vibbert of Indiana

  • His eight grandchildren: Crystle (Jeremy) Davis, Jessica Taylor, Kristen (Jacob) White, Kelsey White, C.J. White, Holden White, Colby White, Kailee White, Tyler Hollingsworth and Camdon Johnson.

  • His eight great grandchildren.
