Sandra Kay Murphy Means, 69 of Louisville, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Wesley Manor in Louisville.

The funeral service will be held at 10amCT/11amET, on Friday, April 27, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Dr. Joey Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Murphy Cemetery. The family will receive friends 9am-10amCT/10am-11amET on Friday, April 27, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

Born on March 1, 1949, in Liberty, KY, she was a daughter of the late Sherman Murphy and Edith Edwards Murphy Grimes. She died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 69 years, one month, and 23 days. Kay was an accounting clerk. She loved to travel. She was of the Christian faith.

Kay is survived by:
  • Her two daughters: Malisa (Stephen) DiPaola and Nina (Vince) Dotta, both of Louisville, KY

  • A brother: Roger (Linda) Murphy of London, KY

  • Her eight grandchildren: Chris (Ashley) DiPaola, Carly DiPaola, Mason DiPaola, Anthony DiPaola, Alexis Massey, Melanie Dotta, Adriana Dotta and Anthony Dotta

  • Her great-grandchild: Carson DiPaola.
