She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of her death in her home in Russell Springs, KY. She was the matriarch of a great family, leaving 91 direct living descendants in addition to a host of step descendants. Funeral service for Sylva Faith Hopper will be 11amCT, Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Kendall Hopper and Bro. Lloyd Hopper officiating. Visitation will 5pm-8pmCT, Monday, April 23, 2018, and after 8amCT, Tuesday. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Russell County, KY.
