Mae Scott Richardson, 73, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Bluegrass Hospice Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral services are 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Saturday, April 21, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Road, Liberty, KY, with Brother Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Whited Cemetery, in Casey County County, KY. Visitation will be held 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, at the funeral home.

Born September 14, 1944 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lela Allen Scott. She died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 73 years, seven months, and four days.

Mae loved knitting and crocheting.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Connie (C.D.) Hale and Patty Brown, both of Liberty, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Brandon Hale, Felicia Luttrell, Justin Brown, and Jordan Hale

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • Two brothers: Gilbert (Shirlene) Scott of Union, KY,and Thelbert Scott of Attica, IN

  • Two sisters: Cora Ellen Hayes of Liberty, KY; and Louvenia Stafford of Ohio.
In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by a brother, Oral Scott; a sister, Marie Webster; and several other brothers and sisters.
