David McFarland, 75, Russell Springs, KY passed away, Tuesday April 17, 2018 at University of KY Medical Center, Lexington KY.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT, Friday April 20, 2018 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, 391 East Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY, with Stevie Roy officiating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Highway 3525, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation will be 11am-1pmCT, Friday April 20, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.


David McFarland, 75, Russell County, KY (1942-2018)

He was born on Sunday November 01, 1942 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Flora Lay & Arnold McFarland. aahe died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 75 years, five months, and 17 days.

He is also survived by:
  • Two sisters: Ruth Hadley, and Evelyn, wife of Eris Dunbar, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Four brothers: Darrell, husband of Paulette Roger McFarland, Roger McFarland, Donald McFarland, and John McFarland, all fo Russell Springs, KY

  • A host of neices and nephews

  • And special friends: Sandra Edwards, Trish and Stevie Roy
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sibblings, Everest McFarland and Juanita Dunbar.

He was retired from General Motors and was of the Baptist faith.
