Hyewon Shim, Seoul, S Korea, speaks at RC Middle School

By Lou Ann Flanagan, submitted by Sabine Eastham

On Wednesday April 11, Hyewon Shim , a student from Seoul South Korea, studying at Lindsey Wilson College, spoke to two groups at Russell County Middle School.

The first group was the gifted and talented under the direction of Tracy Adams.

After Hyewon made her presentation, she was honored with a meal, prepared by Mrs Adams, of Korean dishes. Hyewon enjoyed the dishes and visiting with the group. Hyewon then spoke to RCMS 8th grade.

Her presentation was enjoyed by all and a great learning experience about another culture. Many thanks to Gary Copley, 8th grade social studies teacher for organizing.
