Body found at Sun 15 Apr 2018, Scott's Chapel, Russell Co., KY Liftout: "The investigation is ongoing by the Russell County Coroner’s office, KY Department of Fish & Wildlife, Kentucky State Police, the Casey County Sheriff’s Department and the Russell County Sheriff’s Department" - Sheriff Clete McAninch FB story which follows: Click on headline for complete story Russell County Sheriff Clete McAninch's office is reporting a story on the RCSO's Facebook page this morning about a body found near in Lake Cumberland, in Russell County, KY: "At approximately 10:00 p.m. Sunday a maintenance worker for a private boat dock in the Scotts Chapel community discovered a body when he went to adjust the dock’s anchor lines due to this weekend’s heavy rains. "The body was recovered from the water by Russell County Coroner Michael Reynolds and members of the Russell County Rescue Squad. "The body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office Monday morning for an autopsy and positive identification. "The location where the body was found is relatively close to where a pickup truck belonging to Danny Hatter was found on March 31st. Hatter was reported missing by family in Casey County in early March. "The investigation is ongoing by the Russell County Coroner’s office, KY Department of Fish & Wildlife, Kentucky State Police, the Casey County Sheriff’s Department and the Russell County Sheriff’s Department," the story concludes.
