Gifted and Talented paint mural: Growing a Garden of Art By Candice Flatt, Gifted and Talented Teacher, ACHS The Gifted and Talented Program applied for an art grant called the VSA Kentucky Arts Inclusion Project that helps fund artists and supplies for projects that teach students about art they have not been exposed to previously. It also works with students with and without disabilities. This project uses stylized art to paint a mural on the Gifted and Talented Bus Ceiling entitled "Growing a Garden of Art". Some students pictured in the above photos are Maison Karnes, Jacob Fugate, Chistian Marcial-Davis, Mrs. Pat Ritter--Artist, Lucas Powell, Ashton Flatt, and Jalissa Clements. The project was conducted at Adair County Middle School from March 26-March 30, 2018. This story was posted on 2018-04-09 16:07:19
