Ralph Waggener: A Russell Creek Walk for Columbia?

An idea which ties in with growing kayaking enthusiasm

Just thinking and my thought came to San Antonio, Texas and the River Walk.

I think it would be a bold move for Columbia to have "Russell Creek Walk" on some part of it while it passes around and through Columbia.

Pipe dream? With Kayaking being so popular around here and walking so good for all of us, why not take on a high caliber project like this? Now I don't know what part of Russell or if any of it could be made into a walking path.

I know the tree coverage is already in place. Just don't know about the walk paths, concrete, blacktop or fine gravel, but this sure would set us apart from other small towns!

Just thinking it would be something nice!

Thanks!
