CAUD 5 Apr 2018: Rule Street water pressure problem over

Utility had received numerous complaints of fluctuating water pressure on Rule Street. Work to make source switches is yet to be done.
By Ed Waggener

CAUD General Manager Stone reported at the April 5, 2018 special regular called meeting that all customers on rule street are tied in to the new line from Willis Street, alleviating complaints of intermittent low pressure on the street.

He said that a loop tie =-in which would allow routing the flow of water to and from Rule Street and Hurt Street, is still awaiting the opportunity for the in-house work to be completed.

Rule Street runs from Willis Street to Hurt Street behind the Columbia IGA. When the next phase is completed water can be supplied from two different directions.
