CHS students win awards at KY United Nations Assembly

Campbellsville High School students recently attended the Kentucky United Nations Assembly (KUNA) and brought home several awards.

CHS Y-Club members, accompanied by sponsor Susan Dabney, attended the event March 22-24, 2018 at the Galt House in Louisville.



Overall, CHS students attending received a Delegation of Excellence award.

Bryce Richardson, a senior, received an Outstanding Ambassador award.

The CHS team won an Outstanding Cultural Display award for its Egyptian display.

Twenty-six students attended the conference, including eight seniors, who were recognized at the senior reception and received Kentucky YMCA cords to wear on graduation day.

Students attending include freshman Zaquan Cowan; sophomores Zaria Cowan, Gavin Johnson, Savanna Brockman, Bailey Thompson, Alli Wilson, Lauryn Agathen and Ben Arachi; juniors Brandon Greer, Glenn Lamer, Jeremiah Jackson, Elizabeth Sullivan, Treyce Mattingly, Myles Murrell, Ryan Kearney, Jackson Hinton, Abbie Dicken and Layton Hord; and seniors Sara Farmer, Cass Kidwell, Ryan Wiedewitsch, Bryce Richardson, Alex Doss, Missy Vanorder, Madison Dial and Kimberly Harden.
