Barbara Larimore Price, Green County, KY (1926-2018)

She was the matriarch of a large, respected Green County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late James Robert Larimore and Laura Edrington Larimore. She leaves 18 direct and three step living descendants. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a Life member of the James L Pruitt Post 5813 Auxiliary, Greensburg, KY. She was a former employee of General Electric.

Barbara Larimore Price, 91, departed this life Thursday, April 5, 2018 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehab, Campbellsville, KY.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of the arrangements.

Barbara Larimore Price was born August 14, 1926 in Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late James Robert Larimore and Laura Edrington Larimore. She departed this life Thursday, April 5, 2018 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of ninety-one years, seven months and 21 days.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the South Greensburg Baptist Church. She was a Life member of the James L Pruitt Post 5813 Auxiliary, Greensburg, KY. She was a former employee of General Electric.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Maxine Edwards and Louise Simpson.

She is survived by:
  • Two sons: Rodger Price of Louisville, KY; and Garry Price of Marion, IL

  • And one daughter: Sarah Connor of Greensburg, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Three step grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
