Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments 28 Mar 2018

Indictments brought against 13 individuals from Columbia, Jamestown, Russell Springs, and Madisonville, KY on charges including bail jumping, trafficking, possession of drugs/and or paraphernalia, persistent felony offender, receiving stolen property, theft by deception, fleeing or evading police, giving police officer false or misleading identifying information. >
NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on 28 Mar 2018:


  • Timothy J. Anglin, Burkesville Street, Columbia, KY. (09/24/1982) Indictment No. 18-CR-00100. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Bail Jumping in the first degree. Summons . Arraignment 24 Apr 2018, at 1pmCT.

  • Joseph M. Harrison, Tutt Street, Columbia, KY. (10/13/1987) Indictment No. 18-CR-00101 Charged with 1 counts. Count 1 - Bail Jumping in the first degree. Bail set at No Bond, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Candice Faye Potts, Liberty Road, Columbia, KY (05/09/1978) Indictment No. 18-CR-00102. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Bail Jumping in the first degree. Bail set at No Bond, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Ronald Mitchell, Grissom Street, Columbia, KY. (09/19/1953) Indictment No. 18-CR-00103. Charged with 1 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree- first offense (less than 4 grams of cocaine. Bail set at $7,500 cash, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Michael Dewayne Corbin, Mitchell Street, Columbia, KY (05/11/1976) Indictment No. 18-CR-00104. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree- first offense (two grams or more of methamphetamine). Count 2 - Persistent Felony Offender in the first degree. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia . Bail set at $5,000 cash, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Deana R. Ashby (aka Deana R. Lindsey) Townview Estates, Jamestown, KY (11/22/1969) Indictment No. 18-CR-00105. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Trafficking in a controlled substane in the second degree - first offense. Bail set at $7,500 cash, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Glenn Dale Morrison, Jr. Meadows Lane, Jamestown, KY. (09/07/1984) Indictment No. 18-CR-00106. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property $500 or more but less than $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Bail set at $6,000 cash, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Coy D. Morrison, Jr. Jay Wheeler Road, Columbia, KY (12/22/1974) Indictment No. 18-CR-00107. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000.   • George Randy Grant, Arbor Lane, Columbia, KY. ( 07/05/1973) Indictment No. 18-CR-00110. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, first offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $2,500 cash/secured property. arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • Stephanie R. Shelton, Wayne Road, Russell Springs, KY. (01/19/1986) Indictment No. 18-CR-00111. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Theft by deception, include cold checks under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by deception under $500. Count 3 - Theft by deception under $500. Count 4- Theft by deception under $500. Bail set at $1,000, surety, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.

  • John D. Tyson, Park Avenue, Madisonville, KY (11/27/1993) Indictment No. 18-CR-00112. Charged with 8 counts. Count 1 - Fleeing or evading the police in the first degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender in the first degree. Count 3 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs .08, second offense. Count 4 - Resisting arrest. Count 5 - Prescription controlled substance not in original container, first offense. County 6 - Operating vehicle with expired operator's license. Count 7 - Giving a peace officer false identifying information. Count 8 - Possession of a controlled substance in the third degree. Bail set at $15,000 cash/Secured property, arraignment 24 Apr 2018 at 1pmCT.
