James Roberts: Urges conservation aid to re-locate Snowy Owl In this letter: Snowy's unique-to-owls hunting method. A suggestion for saving Taylor County's Great Snowy Related: Birds of KY: Wayne Baxter capture of Great Snowy Owl By James Roberts These birds are native to the Arctic regions. This one was probably released as a captured pet or rode in on an over-the-road vehicle. It should be a male. Where most other owls hunt during the night, these hunt during the day. The warm weather approaching may be hard on him considering that they are used to colder climates. Thanks, James Roberts. This story was posted on 2018-04-01 11:43:32
