Campbellsville Elementary School students are learning about showing love through their artwork. In Adrienne Hash's art class, students recently listened to the book "Willow" by Denise Brennan-Nelson.

The book is about an art teacher who doesn't like anything to be different or out of the ordinary. But one of her students, named Willow, helps the art teacher change her attitude. Willow gave her teacher a book of her artwork.

After the school's Christmas break, the students return to see their teacher has changed her outlook and encourages students to express themselves through art.

Hash said art is a great way to express feelings, and she asked her students to create a drawing to express their love for someone.

And, Hash encouraged her students to give away their drawings as a way to make another person smile.
