Larry Tweedy, 47, Adair County, KY (d. Thu 29 Mar 2018)

He attended the Egypt Christian Church and worked for Allen's Pest Control in Campbellsville for several years. Larry enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and playing with his dog. His wife, Starr Patton Tweedy, survives. His final resting place will be in the Bardin Cemetery in Adair County, KY.

Larry Tweedy, 47 of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2:49amCT, at the Baptist Health Care in Louisville, KY after several years illness.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 2, 2018 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Clergy officiating will be Bro. Paul Patton. Interment will be in the Bardin Cemetery The family request visiting after 9:00 AM on Monday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



He was the son of the late Preston Tweedy and was preceded in death by a brother Jeff Tweedy in 2006 and his step mother, Dottie Law.

He is survived by:
  • His mother: Dorothy Bardin Loy and step father Harold Loy, of Columbia, KY

  • His wife: Starr Patton Tweedy of Columbia, KY
  • Two sisters: Janeatte Kelsay (Timmy) of Glensfork, KY; andDiane Boller (Gary) of Columbia, KY

  • Brother and sister in laws: Jimmy & Rosemary Harmon, Lloyd & Lynn Curtis, and Willie Patton all of Columbia, KY; and James Alfred & Evie Patton of North Vernon, IN

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Larry attended the Egypt Christian Church and worked for Allen's Pest Control in Campbellsville for several years. Larry enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and playing with his dog.
