Taylor Countian, 39, faces evidence tampering, other charges

Follow arrest on Keltner Road, and incarceration in the Adair County Regional Jail, law enforcement officers allege suspect attempted injest a small bag of meth. Suspect was facing three outstanding warrants of arrest out of Taylor County.

From Adair County Sheriff's Office, Columbia, KY

Sheriff Harrison Moss reports that on Wednesday, March 28 2018 at approximately 5amCT, Adair County Sheriff Office personnel were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle at Betty's OK Country Cooking on Campbellsville Road in Columbia, KY.



Adair County Deputy Sheriff Josh Durbin responded and located the vehicle driving down Keltner Road.

Once Burress was taken to the Adair County Jail it was found that he had concealed a small bag of suspected meth in his clothes.

Buress then attempted to destroy the bag of meth by attempting to eat and flush it, but was unsuccessful.

Buress was then charged with possession of methamphetamine, tampering with physical Evidence, and promoting contraband.

Deputy Durbin is the investigating officer and was assisted in the investigation by Columbia Police officer Jorden Dean, ACSO Deputy Brandon Hitch and Adair County Regional Jail Deputy Diorian Coleman.
