A Day of Visual Arts is for students of art and design at CU

CAMPBELLSVILLE, KY - Campbellsville University will host the Fourth Annual "A Day in Visual Arts" on Monday, March 26, 2018, presentation at 9:40amCT/10:40amET, with about 90 high school students participating at The Gheens Recital Hall, 210 University Drive, Campbellsville, KY.



A Day of Visual Arts is where prospective art and design students have a chance to meet with Campbellsville University art and design professor as well as Dr. Jason Garrett, professor of communication who teaches film.

Students from Campbellsville High School, Taylor County High School, John Hardin High School, Metcalfe County High School and Washington County High School will be in attendance.

These students, along with students from Marion County High School, will be participating in the High School Juried Show that will be in the Turner Log Cabin, with an award presentation at 10:40amET. Students will also tour the campus with focus on the art facilities. There will be a film screening with questions and answers.

Campbellsville University is a widely-acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university with more than 8,000 students offering over 90 programs of study including 20 master's degrees, six postgraduate areas and seven pre-professional programs.
