Lyin' little groundhog, can't trust them with weather forecasting

by Linda Waggener

Mary Sue announced there were six inches of snow outside her Louisville window this morning which prompted the comment, "Lyin' little groundhog. Can't trust them to tell the truth about the weather..."

I thought the chuckle over the outrageous weather could be shared. Mary is a dear one.

Our forever bond when we knew we were of like minds, was sealed the first time we were in charge of the kitchen, and in complete innocent ignorance baked the paper-wrapped giblets inside the Thanksgiving turkey. Needless to say, the turkey was taken off the menu.

Our like minds this morning were on the subject of snow and how ready we are for spring!
