Fred Allen Morgan, 77, of Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home.

Care & Cremation was selected with a memorial service to be announced later.


Fred Allen, Morgan, Russell Co., KY/Adair Co. native (1940-2018)


He was born May 12, 1940 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Luther & Dolly Compton Morgan. He died Tuesday, March 6, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 77 years, nine month, and 22 days of age.

He was a truck driver. Survivors include:
  • His wife: Marilyn Morgan

  • Two children: Tami (Audi) Hammond, and Jimmy Allen Morgan, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Three grandsons: Hunter Hammond, Levi Morgan, and Jonathan Jones

  • On sister: Vera Wicks, Jamestown, KY

  • One step son: John (Jennifer) Roberts, Texas

  • Two step daughters: Carla (James) DeMoss, and Cheryl (Donnie) Turner, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Eight step grandchildren

  • Eight step great grandchildren
