Rex Fisher, 90, Russell County, KY (1927-2018)

He was born October 11, 1927 in Shelbyville, Shelby County, IN. He was the son of the late Elmer & Edna Quick and was a truck driver in his career. In addition to his parents, He was the widower of Ilene McQueary Fisher. He was the patriarch of a great family, numbering 48 direct living descendants, spanning four generations.

Rex Fisher, 90, of Russell Springs, died Monday, March 5, 2018 in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with burial in the Holt Cemetery. Visitation is after 11am until time for the funeral.



Rex Fisher, 90, Russell County, KY (1927-2018)

He was born October 11, 1927 in Shelbyville, Shelby County, IN. He was the son of the late Elmer & Edna Quick. He died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 90 years, four months, and 22 days.

He was a truck driver.

In addition to his parents, Rex was preceded in death by his wife, Ilene McQueary Fisher. Survivors are
  • Five children: David (Terry) Fisher, Jamestown KY; Connie Kirk, Chattanooga, TN; Nancy (Brad) Chapman, Russell Springs, KY; Margarett Drake, Russell Springs, KY; Margie (Gary) Wisdom, Russell Springs, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Twenty-two great grandchildren,

  • Nine great great grandchildren.
