WKU gives notice of traffic challenge around Diddle Arena By Wes Watt University Drive (U.S. 68X) in Bowling Green will be down to one lane for two weeks Bowling Green, KY - (6 Mar 2018) - A section of University Drive (U.S.68X) in Bowling Green will be down to one lane for two weeks while Western Kentucky University installs a new video for its football stadium. The inside lane of University Drive next to the stadium will be closed from approximately March 8 through March 22, 2018. The outside lane will remain open. Motorists heading toward the direction of E.A. Diddle Arena and Kentucky Street can expect congestion to increase during this time. To help with congestion issues one week of construction takes place during the University's spring break. Please use caution while in this area and expect extra traffic congestion.
