Allen Wayne Wheat, 41, of Russell Springs, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10amCT Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lindsey Cornett officiating.

Visitation will be from 3-8pmCT Wednesday, March 7, 2018 and after 8amCT Thursday before the funeral service. Intermentwill be in the Wheat Cemetery.


Allen Wayne Wheat, 41, Russell County, KY (1977-2018)

He was born March 4, 1977 in Somerset, Ky. He was a member of Harvest Church of God. Allen was a Fiber Optic Installer with Triple D Communication. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lila West Wheat on March 22, 2016.

Survivors are
  • Four Children: Whitney (Trevor) Wheat, Jamestown, Ky;Cody Wheat, Ashley Wheat; and Ethan Wheat, all of Russell Springs.

  • One Grandchild: Caden Wheat.

  • His father and Step Mother: Bro. Adron & Joyce Wheat, Russell Springs.

  • Two Sisters: Donita (Mike) Meador, Louisville, Ky; and Kara (Darren) McCauley, Bardstown, Ky.

  • His Paternal Grandfather: Amon West, Russell Springs.
