Traffic Advisory: US 31W Downtown Elizabethtown By Chris Jessie Southbound US 31W will be reduced to one lane in downtown Elizabethtown beginning today, Monday, March 5, 2018. A lane closure plan was approved by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to assist in a building demolition project taking place on the Southwest corner of the square. Short delays will be possible, especially during peak travel hours. Motorists should pay close attention to newly posted signage upon approach to the square. The closure will be in effect day and night. Work should be complete in approximately three weeks.
