James (Jimmy) Caton, 56, Taylor County, KY (1961-2018)

He was a former construction worker. He enjoyed living life to the fullest doing things his way, but once his son was born, his focus changed to his son. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

James "Jimmy" Caton of Campbellsville, KY died at 5pmET Thursday, February 22, 2018 in Campbellsville at age 56.

The funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET Monday, February 26, 2018, Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the funeral home.



James "Jimmy" Caton, Taylor County, KY (1961-2018)

He was the son of the late Tricha Burton Holt and Jimmy "Shorty" Holt, born October 19, 1961 in Taylor County, KY. He died Thursday, February 22, 2018, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 56 years, four months, and three days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. James was a former construction worker.

He enjoyed living life to the fullest doing things his way, but once his son was born, his focus changed to his son.

He is survived by
  • One son: Daniel Caton of Campbellsville;

  • One brother and two sisters: Dwain Caton and wife, Charlotte and Jamie Holt Owens of Campbellsville and Charlotte Hoots and husband, Mark of Leitcfhield;

  • Special friend: Cindy Perkins of Campbellsville;

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a nephew, Phillip Mann. \
