David Edd Parrigin, 67, Adair Co., KY/Metcalfe Co., KY native (1950-2018)

David attended Trinity United Methodist Church, was retired, a Kentucky State Police Driver Testing Administrator. He was a member of a highly respected Adair County, KY family, with deep family ties in Metcalfe and Russell Counties and elsewhere. He was the son of the late William E. & Mayme Marie Rhinehart Parrigin.He leaves five direct living descendants.

David Edd Parrigin age 67 years of Columbia, KY passed away Thursday February 22, 2018 11:40amCT, at his home.

Funeral service Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Rev. Steve Pescosolido will be officiating clergy. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4:30pmCT, Saturday, February 24, 2018.


David Edd Parrigin, 67, Adair Co., KY/Metcalfe Co. native (1950-2018)


He was born on August 1, 1950 in Metcalfe County, KY. He was the son of the late William E. & Mayme Marie Rhinehart Parrigin. He died Thursday, February 22, 2018, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 67 years, six months, and 21 days.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by one brother, Eli Parrigin, on June 30, 2013. He is survived by:
  • One son: William L. Parrigin of Greensburg, KY

  • One daughter: Amanda D. Parrigin Eaton (Russell Eaton, Jr.) of Marion, KY

  • One brother: Timothy Parrigin and fiancee' Linda Annese of Columbia, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Westin Parrigin, Kinlee Eaton & Emma Eaton

  • Several other relatives & friends survive
David attended Trinity United Methodist Church, was retired, a Kentucky State Police Driver Testing Administrator.
