Gregory B. (Greg) Parrish, 57, Burkesville, KY (1961-2018)

He was a member of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky family. His mother, Katherine Huddleston Parrish, Columbia, KY, survives. He leaves three direct living descendants. His brother, Perry Parrish, and niece Rachel Parrish, Columbia, KY also survive. He was of Methodist faith, a member of Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church, and a Farmer.


Mr. Gregory Bruce "Greg" Parrish, age 57, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at The University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.

The funeral service for Mr. Gregory Bruce "Greg" Parrish will be conducted on Wednesday February 21, 2018, at 2pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. The family will receive friends after 11amCT, on Wednesday February 21, 2018, until the funeral hour.

Mr. Gregory Bruce "Greg"Parrish, of Burkesville, KY, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018 at The University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, having attained the age of 57 years, and 2 days. He was born in Albany, Clinton County, KY, on Friday, February 17, 1961, the son of Bruce Perry and Mary Katherine (Huddleston) Parrish.

He was of Methodist faith, a member of Parrish Chapel United Methodist Church, and a Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Parrish.


He is survived by:
  • His mother: Katherine Huddleston Parrish, of Columbia, KY

  • His children: Tyler Parrish, Ashley Parrish, Charlotte Barrett-Weber, all of Burkesville, KY

  • His brother: Perry Wayne Parrish of Columbia, KY

  • One niece: Rachel Parrish, Columbia, KY
