Brenda Louise Dicken, 69, Taylor County, KY (1948-2018)

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a native of Columbus, IN, and a resident of Campbellsville at the time of her death. She was the matriarch of a large respected family, the daughter of the late Marvin Caldwell & Beulah Burton Caldwell. Her husband of 43 years, Leonard L. Dicken, survives. She leaves 36 direct living descendants.

Brenda Louise Dicken, 69, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 5:35pmET, Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Elizabethtown, KY. Cremation was chosen by the family.

Brenda Louise Dicken was the daughter of the late Marvin Caldwell & Beulah Burton Caldwell. She was born November 7, 1948, in Columbus, Bartholemew County, IN. She died at Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 69 years, three months, and 11 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She united in marriage to Leonard L. Dicken March 4, 1974.

Brenda was a kind hearted person and loved everyone, especially her family and friends.

Besides her husband, Leonard L. Dicken of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by:
  • Three sons and two daughters: Danny Hatfield, Paul Dicken and fiancee, Angie Bentley, Robin Rich and husband, Robert and Tina Davis and husband, Matt of Campbellsville, KY; and Kenneth Hatfield and wife, Trish of Russell Springs, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • Eighteen great-grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Shirley Neal and Deborah Lawrence and husband, George of Louisville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Wayne Hatffield; one sister, Jeannie Caldwell and one brother-in-law, Roger Neal.
