Cheryl Wall Hembree, 63 of Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 9:45amET, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at 2pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Pastor Gerald Reliford officiating. Burial in Freedom Cemetery, 576 Freedom Church Road, in Eastern Adair County, KY. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, February 15, 2018.

She was born November 2, 1954, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Oliver Wall & Thelma Absher Wall. She died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 63 years, three months, and 11 days.

She attended New Life for the Nations.

Survivors include:
  • Her husband: Danny Hembree of Columbia, KY

  • One daughter: Kim Blackistone (Tim) of Columbia, KY

  • One granddaughter: Sierra Blackistone of Columbia, KYvTwo step-daughters: Angela Staples of Mason, Ohio, Shelly Pinto of W. Hialeah, Florida

  • Two step-grandsons: Anthony and Isaiah Pinto

  • Six sisters: Jenny Bailey (Tommy), Betty Wall, Linda Wall, Wanda Karnes (Darrell) Carolyn Sullivan (Terry) all of Columbia, KY, Barbara Coffey (Randall) of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five brothers: Allen Jr. "Buddy" Wall (Martha), Wayne Wall, Gary Wall (Leann), Donnie Wall (Jan) all of Columbia, KY; and Jerry Wall (Janice) of Russell Springs, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
