He retired from the Army after thirty-one years' service which included a tour in Korea. He was also a farmer. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church. His wife, Sarah Louise Price, survives.

Eugene Loyall Price, 87, departed this life February 3, 2018 at his home in the Pleasant Valley Community of Green County, KY.

Services will be held at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY at 1pmCT Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Visitation is after 4pmCT Tuesday, February 6, 2018 and after 7amCT Wednesday until the funeral. Interment will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Chaplain Roger Dill, Bro. Darrell Landis, Bro. Jerry Scott and Bro. Mike Walker will officiate at the services.

Pallbearers are: Michael Price, Jeffrey Pepperman, Bobby Anderson, Alan Anderson, Casen Anderson, Brian Landis, R.T. Marr, Jamie Davis and Mike Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Barry Ward, Doug Hodges, Nick Paxton, W. L. Berry, Richard W. Eugene Loyall Price was born July 14, 1930 in Green County, KY. He was the son of the late McFarlon and Leatha Mae Marshall Price. He departed this life February 3, 2018 at his home in the Pleasant Valley Community of Green County having attained the age of 87 years, six months and 20 days.

He retired from the Army after thirty-one years' service which included a tour in Korea. He was also a farmer. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Sand Lick Separate Baptist Church

He is survived by
  • His wife Sarah Louise Price,

  • One son and his wife: Michael Eugene Price and Terri,

  • One daughter and her husband: Milissa Anderson and Bobby,

  • One sister: Anita Price,

  • One brother and sister-in-law: Marshall "Monk" Price and Charlotte all of the Pleasant Valley Community of Green County, KY.,

  • Two grandchildren: Jessica and Jeffrey Pepperman,

  • Two step grandchildren: Alan & Brandi Anderson all of Green County, KY., and Anthony Gassaway and family of Knob Lick, KY,

  • Three great grandchildren: Anna, Casen and Peyton Anderson.
