Mr. Johnny Gail Vibbert, Cumberland Co., KY native (1953-2018)

He was a Fence Constructor for KY-Tennessee Fence. He was the son of the late Haskel Lee Vibbert & Priscilla Martha Francis Norris Vibbert Watson. He leaves 22 direct and 12 step living descendants. His final resting place will be in Mud Camp Cemetery in his native Cumberland County, KY.

Mr. Johnny Gail Vibbert, of Tompkinsville, KY, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home in Tompkinsville, KY. having attained the age of 64 years, 4 months, and 11 days.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at 2pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Mud Camp Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 11amCT, on Wednesday, until the funeral hour.

He was born in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY. on Sunday, September 13, 1953. He was the son of Haskel Lee Vibbert & Priscilla Martha Francis Norris Vibbert Watson. He died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home in Tompkinsville, Monroe County, KY at the the age of 64 years, four months, and 11 days.

He was a Fence Constructor for KY-Tennessee Fence.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Vibbert; his paternal grandparents, Willie Bill & Trude Vibbert; maternal grandparents, Albert & Ruby Norris; brothers, Harley Vibbert, Garvin Cooley Vibbert, James Preston Vibbert; sisters, Easter Dorine Faulkner, Mary Anna Watson; and grandson, Jared Shane Vibbert.

He is survived by:
  • His five children, Jerry Lee (Samantha) Vibbert, Shane (Penny) Vibbert, Johnny (Makailey) Vibbert, Tina (Dewayne) Blythe, all of Tompkinsville, KY;and Mary Vibbert of Glasgow, KY

  • His siblings: Herbert Keith (Fonda) Vibbert of Burkesville, KY; Teressa Carol Beers of Indianapolis, IN; and Patty Sue (Donnie) Allen of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Special friend: Mary Jean Hunter of Tompkinsville, KY

  • Sixteen grandchildren

  • Six step-grandchildren

  • Eleven great-grandchildren

  • Six step-great-grandchildren
