She was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a resident of Jamestown, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late William & Pansy Wilson Hadley, and the widow of James Clifford Post. She leaves 15 direct living descendants. Her final resting place will be in the Free Union Cemetery.

Lois J. Post, 88, of Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Graveside service for Lois J. Post will be 10amCT, Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Free Union Cemetery with Bro. Bill Mullins officiating. No visitation is scheduled.

She was born September 27, 1929 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was the daughter of the to the late William & Pansy Wilson Hadley. She died Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 88 years, four months, and three days, In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, James Clifford Post; and a son, Gary Burton.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Larry W.Burton, Russell Springs, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Jennifer, Andrew, Melanie, and Melissa

  • Ten great grandchildren
