Another topic: Why are Judgeships races in KY "non-partisan," and Commonwealth Attorneys "partisan"???
Click on headline for complete story

By Ed Waggener

In checking over the non-partisan and long list of candidates for District Judges, there were a surprising number of sons and grandsons of Adair County, KY. At least 4-5 - maybe many more. The list can be seen at State Board of Elections website/list of candidates for district judge.

If exploring this aspect of this year's very interesting races, help us with input. Respond using the "Contact" link with this article.

And, can any reader help explain why District Judge Races are "Non-partisan" and candidates for Commonwealth Attorney run in party primaries under party devices?
