Ruby M. Grider, 83, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Graveside services were held 9pmCT/10amET, Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Glenwood Cemetery in Casey County, KY, with Brother Clifton Cowan officiating. There was no visitation.

She was was born September 3, 1934 in Indiana. She died January 22, 2018, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 83 years, four months, and 19 days.

She was a housewife and former store clerk. Ruby attended Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • One brother: Tommy Head of Florida

  • A special nephew: James Rodgers of Liberty, KY

  • Several other nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Herman Grider, who passed away December 4, 1980, and by one brother, Sonny Head; and one sister, Barbara.
