Dorthy Duncan age 70, of Liberty, KY passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2018 at the Liberty Care and Rehabilitation Center, Liberty.

Funeral Services will be held 12pmCT/1pmET, Sunday January 28, 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY. with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will in the Poplar Grove Cemetery in Casey County, KY. Visitation will be Saturday, January 27, 2018 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, at Bartle Funeral Home.

She was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on November 4, 1947. She was a daughter of the late Walter & Nettie Mae Maybrier Duncan. She died Wednesday January 24, 2018, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 70 years, two months, and 20 days.

Dorthy was a former employee of the Village Restaurant and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include:
  • One brother: Garland Duncan of Welpa, IL

  • Two nieces: Lisa and (Daniel) Wightman and Tonya Ramirez

  • One nephew: Timothy Duncan

  • One great niece: Elane Wightman

  • Caregivers: Patsy and Wade Durham of Yosemite, KY; and Connie Murphy of Liberty, KY
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Darrell Duncan; and two sisters, Agnes Duncan and Lucille McWilliams.
