Robt. Cumming: Effort underway to restore Delightful Falls Park

City of Jamestown seeking permits from Corps of Engineer to re-establish site as part of Trail Town designation, Robert Cumming writes

Robert Cumming writes:
Several people including a few elected officials have been trying to resurrect the former scenic roadside park adjacent the abandoned Hwy 35 concrete bridge, in this area. It is on Corps of Engineers property, but the state Hwy Dept. maintained the park until it was discontinued in the early '70's. Right now the City of Jamestown is seeking a permit from the Corps of Engineers to re-establish this site as part of their Trail Town designation. - Robert Cumming
