Marcus (Mark) Dale Abner, age 59, of Glasgow, KY, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at T J Samson Hospital, Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1pmCT, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY. Burial will follow in the Shirley Baldock Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmET, Monday, January 15, 2018 and on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 after 7amCT, until time of services.

Born February 4, 1958 in Seymour, Jackson County, IN. He was a son of the late Stanley & Betty Glass Abner. He died Saturday, January 13, 2018, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 59 years, 11 months, and nine days.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Amy (Todd) Largent, and Marquetta Lile, both of Glasgow, KY

  • Two brothers: Kevin Abner, and Keith Abner, Glasgow, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Trevor Largent, Tristan Hoots, Tanon Largent, and Chezney Lile

  • Two great grandchildren: Blayklee Largent and Max Largent.

    He was preceded in death besides his parents, by one great grandchild, Ellie May Hoots; one brother Ricky Abner, and the mother of his children, Teresa Kaye Lile Abner
