She was born in Jamestown, KY, was a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of her death in Russell Springs, KY. She was the daughter of the late Vadie & Mary Magdalene Wooldridge Guffey. She died Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 95 years, 10 months, and 17 days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Walter Ray Gaskins, three sons; Ethan, Solomon & Emmanuel Gaskins and one daughter; Katherine Gaskins. She attended New Hope Separate Baptist Church and the Adair Friends and Neighbors Adult Daycare. Survivors include:
