She was a member of a highly regarded Adair County, KY, family, the daughter of the late Elbert & Stella Akin Janes. She was born in Adair County, KY, was a resident of the county at the time of her death, and her final resting place will be in Adair County, KY at Haven Hill CemeteryClick on headline for complete obituary Leola Edmonds, 83 of Columbia, KY passed away at her home Saturday January 6, 2018 at 10:32amCT. Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. William Davenport and Rev. Daniel Lyons the officiating clergy. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY.
